    Plus-Booking

Introducing the Plus-Booking Module in COBI.wms

The Plus-Booking module serves as a direct counterpart to the Goods Receipt process found in SAP Business One under
[Inventory Management → Inventory Transactions → Goods Receipt.]
This module plays a critical role in managing inventory inflow, ensuring a seamless integration between COBI.wms and SAP Business One.

    How Plus-Booking Works:

Upon accessing SAP Business One, we can call up the most recent record to see the module in action. The record is divided into two main sections: the header, which outlines essential data like booking and document dates, and the line level, listing actual inventory items and their related records.

In COBI.wms, Plus-Booking is demonstrated by either directly scanning an item or manually entering it line by line. This flexibility ensures that users can efficiently manage inventory additions, tailored to their operational preferences.

    Adding Items to Plus-Booking:

Once in the Plus-Booking module, users can add items to their inventory through intuitive gestures or a built-in search function.
This provides insights into stock levels, allocations, and order statuses, showcasing the immediate availability of items.

For instance, adding item #xyz allows us to define its quantity and unit based on the master data from SAP Business One, with the system automatically pulling relevant details like pallets, packages, or pieces.
This process highlights the current distribution of the item across the warehouse, offering a clear view of inventory management.

Finalizing and Integrating with SAP Business One:

    The process concludes with a:

indicating that the entered data has been correctly logged into SAP Business One.
This step is essential for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of inventory records.

Upon completion, users receive a document number and a detailed summary of all items.
This document number can be used within SAP Business One's search function for quick retrieval, enhancing the efficiency of inventory management.
