Version 2.36 PL2

• There is a new option to disable batch/serial numbers in the Picking module. This means the app won't ask the user for batch/serial numbers during picking. The batch/serial numbers will have to be provided later to complete the process, such as when creating a Delivery Note or Inventory Transfer from the Pick List.

• Support for picking items that have “Issue primarily by” set to “Bin Locations” in the Item Master Data.
• Display current login information (company and user) at the top of the Main Menu.
• Ability to set a Session Timeout in the Options screen. When this is set to a value greater than zero, the app will log out automatically after the specified number of minutes.

Picking

• Pick lists based on production orders are now supported.

Production

• Production orders of type “Special” are now supported.
  (They are treated the same as standard production orders.)

Attachments

• You can now add new attachments to old Delivery and Purchase Receipt documents by opening them from the history screen. (Top right “clock” icon in the Purchase Receipt and Sales Delivery modules.)
• Signature attachments can now be added to all documents.
• You can now add new attachments to items.

Translation

• Swedish translation has been added.
• Item Master Data.
• Advanced active/inactive date ranges in item master data are now also supported.
• Caching of item master data is now more granular: COBI.wms will continually retrieve items that were newly added to SAP Business One. Updates to existing items still require a restart of the app to take effect.

User Interface

• New Option: Show the “Free Text” field of document lines in the app.
• The due date of individual Purchase Order lines are now shown in the Purchase Receipt module, if they are different from the due date on the document header.

Other

• COBI.wms can now retrieve the address of the Print Service from the Management Database so you don't have to configure it manually on all your Android devices.

Date Format Customization

• Users can now change the date format in the options (either DD.MM.YYYY or MM-DD-YYYY), which will be applied across all modules.

Base Document Item Descriptions

• For existing BaseDocs (e.g., deliveries with a customer order), the ItemName is now pulled directly from the BaseDoc instead of the OITM table, allowing for customized descriptions in the BaseDoc to be used.

Inventory Module Enhancements

• The inventory module now supports multiple counters (team counters and individual counters, but not a mix of both).

Sales Bill of Materials

• Improved handling of sales bill of materials after picking. If a sales BOM exists, the "parent item" will be automatically pulled in the delivery module after picking.

New Options

• Goods Receipt: Hide Orders for Drop Ship Warehouses
• This option hides all orders for drop ship warehouses as well as individual lines in orders for drop ship warehouses.
• Picking: Check Available Quantity
• Checks if the quantity to be picked is available in the specified warehouse. If not, the line and the entire order are marked with an exclamation mark (!).
• Picking: Sort by Base Documents
• When a picking list consists of multiple documents, they are displayed separately.
• Issue for Production: Check Available Quantity
• Similar to the picking process, it checks the available quantity and marks insufficient stock.
• Miscellaneous: Allow Negative Storage Bins
• Miscellaneous: Automatically Select Current Storage Bin for Item

Additional Features and Improvements:

• Support for additional barcodes from the OBCD table alongside standard barcodes.
• When picking for production, positions will now be highlighted in orange if there is insufficient stock in warehouse x, making it clear which items and documents are not ready for picking.
• An exclamation mark will also be displayed if there is insufficient stock in warehouse xx, though it will specifically reference warehouse x.
• Manually edited item descriptions will now be displayed during goods receipt, as in version 2.34 PL10, improving control processes for goods receipt staff.

Item Images/Attachments

• Item images and attachments can now be viewed in the quantity entry screen.
• Images can be enlarged by clicking on them.

Negative Inventory

• It is now possible to allow negative inventory levels.

Stock Check Option

• Stock checking is now an optional feature that can be selected in the settings.

Scanner Support

• The issue with Denso Scanner has been resolved.
• New logic for Denso Scanners has been implemented.

Storage Bin Selection

• Improved selection process for storage bins.

Fixed Bugs

• Fixed several app crashes, including:

  • Renaming sample labels in the label printing module
  • Fixed an app crash in Picking related to the “Pick Unit” dialog.
  • Scanning QR codes in print settings
  • Fixed an app crash when deleting empty packing lists.

• Fixed multiple Service Layer errors, such as:

  • Error during transfer (property 'U_PickUnitCode') despite the option being disabled
  • Error -43 when adding items to a stock transfer request

• Fixed incorrect or confusing UI behavior:

  • Wrong color markings (green/red) during stock transfers
  • If the inventory count list is assigned approval levels, the list will not be displayed even in the approved status.
  • Fixed inconsistent behavior in Goods Receipt when using different date formats (MM/DD/YYYY vs. DD/MM/YYYY) for batch items with a future production date.
  • “Pick and Pack” production orders always highlighted in blue
  • Reference fields allowing too many characters (conflict with SAP)
  • Incorrect display of search lists and icons

• Fixed logic issues with expiration dates:

  • Contradicting options between “Expiration date mandatory” and “Validate expiration date”

  • Missing delivery address blocked document creation without explanation
  • Comment lines were overwritten in SAP
  • Incorrect wording (“Production” shown incorrectly)

  • Overlapping error messages in Picking
  • “Barcode not found” message could not be stacked
  • DEMO database connection error

• Fixed various spelling mistakes, typos and incorrect translations across the UI.

• Fixed SSCC logic bug:

  • Improved SSCC generation logic (based on GTIN and additional parameters). \ This caused issues for some companies with more than 12 GTIN numbers, which is now resolved with a more robust and reliable implementation.

Version 2.42 PL5 (October 2025)

• Minor bug fixes related to the Inventory list. \ The logic has been hardened to handle NULL values sent by the Service Layer in cases where SAP does not provide data for certain fields. This ensures that the Inventory list is now fully NULL-safe.

Version 2.42 PL6 (October 2025)

• Fixed an issue where stock transfers with negative quantities caused an error even though the corresponding options were enabled. This process now works as expected.
• Fixed a bug in the Service Layer handling of inactive bin locations. Inactive bins were still being displayed despite the option being disabled.
• Fixed an issue in the Pick List module where the START PICKING button appeared after sending an empty list. The button is now correctly hidden in this case.
• Fixed an issue during picking where batch splitting was blocked when batches were already pre-assigned.The logic has been adjusted so that entering the same batch manually no longer triggers an “exceeds stock quantity” error.

Version 2.42 PL7 (November 2025)

• Barcode Scanning / UoM: Fixed an issue where scanning a barcode from the stock list (after selecting “Add Line”) did not correctly recognize the alternative unit of measure (UoM). The app now correctly applies the corresponding UoM and quantity conversion, matching the standard scanning behavior.
• Localization: Fixed a bug where language settings were not properly applied or persisted throughout the application. The selected language is now correctly adopted in all areas.
• UI / Layout: Resolved a display issue on newer Android versions where the top navigation bar overlapped with the content area.

Version 2.43 (February 2026)

• Team Counting (Inventory): A new, significantly more robust system for inventory counting has been integrated. It optimizes the processing of very large counting lists and improves synchronization when multiple warehouse workers are working on the same list simultaneously. Data is now collected locally and then sent in batches to the SAP B1 Service Layer via a configurable background service, noticeably increasing the app's responsiveness.
• Important Note: Processing inventory lists with the counting type "Multiple Counters" (Team Counters) is now exclusively supported via the new background service. Without the installed service, these lists can no longer be processed in the app.

Improvements & Fixes

• Delivery / Packing Units: Fixed critical bugs where deleting packing units (manually or via scan) caused the app to crash (NullPointerException).
• Error Messages: To speed up the support process, "Extended Details" (Stacktrace) in error messages are now expanded by default.
• Connection: The default timeout for the Service Layer connection has been increased to 30 seconds and is now configurable in the settings to prevent timeouts on slower networks.
• Stock Transfer: A new option has been added to disable the "Older batch available" warning.
• Inventory Lines: Deletion of inventory lines is now disabled to ensure data consistency within the new process.

New Features

• Password Protection for Settings: A new database table allows protecting app options with a password. When changing protected settings, a password prompt is now required. More information:

Bug Fixes

• UpdateReleaseAllocation:Fixed a critical issue in the .updateReleaseAllocation logic which caused multiple Service Layer errors. In certain scenarios this resulted in: Clearing of document lines Removal of bin location allocations. These issues could significantly disrupt picking and delivery processes.
• Production Receipt: Fixed an issue where barcode scanning in "Receipt from Production" (remaining quantities) did not automatically select the item.
• Delivery Creation:Fixed an issue where opening a sales order in delivery failed when the option "Generate packing lists for deliveries SSCC" was enabled (especially on HANA systems).
